We Gather Together

Thanks to all those who downloaded Candy Corn, I hope you had fun coloring it. For those of you who missed out this year, it will probably be around next All Hallow's Eve.

And now it's November and harvest is nearly done and all the animals of the forest begin to think about the coming cold and burrowing in for the winter. Hope you all have your larder's well stocked and your lairs cozily lined. It's the time of year to gather together and be grateful for all the blessings we have and the friends and family who enrich our lives.

This shot was taken during a photo shoot my sister was doing of my husband and me in our backyard. Michael was trying to get a more natural smile out of me and starting cracking jokes. Shelley (my sister) got this shot while I was actually laughing and I think it turned out to be the best of the bunch.

i caught your comment on lance's poet disrobed. i'm the poet. it wasn't as interesting as you might think. the audience could see the picture, not me. besides, as a nudist, i really don't mind posing. you're invited to my gallery also. have a good one!

Thanks for the invite. You do lovely work, and sorry - hope your wrist is healing well. I'm not sure where I commented on the evening, but I'll bet it was interesting as two art forms, drawing and poetry, met and mingled. Sounds to me like something that doesn't often occur in our little city. But, perhaps I just don't get out often enough, lol.
